Aftercare
Caring for a new piercing

Clean twice daily
Use a saline solution on the front and back of the piercing.

Hands off
Do not twist or turn the stud, and touch it only with clean hands.

Keep it dry
Pat dry after bathing and keep hair products and perfume away.

Leave it in
Keep the starter jewellery in until it heals. Cartilage takes longer than lobes.

Most people feel a quick pinch that is over in a second. Cartilage can feel a little stronger than the lobe.
Lobe piercings usually heal in about 6 to 8 weeks. Cartilage piercings can take several months.
Wait until the piercing is fully healed. We will advise you when it is safe to change.
